Senior Citizens Homestead Exemption

The qualifications for the Senior Citizens Homestead Exemption require that you own the home and occupy it as your principle residence, are responsible for payment of property taxes, and are 65 years of age or older. The exemption is a $4,000 reduction in assessed valuation. Application for this exemption must be filed in the Morgan County Assessor’s Office. PTAX 324 (link)
